What makes us unique

The best of two worlds.

We're in the middle of the city, but nature is part of every day. With the forest, the fjord and culture close by, Marka is a natural part of how we teach – and we're out on trips a lot.

  • Kindergarten teachers
  • Sports educator
  • Artist
  • Staff with music training
  • Four child and youth workers
  • Several male staff

The kindergarten meets the requirements for staffing and teacher density.

Bua · Bua is a hiking group across the departments, with its own premises. Ten children and two adults take part week by week, with several trips a week – for even more variety, and to draw on what the staff are especially good at.

Food and mealtimes

A Fiskesprell kindergarten – with a love of food.

Two meals a day with fruit and vegetables, hot food once or twice a week and as much as possible made from scratch. The children help with shopping and cooking – and in campfire season we cook outdoors on trips.
